CITIZENS AND THE CITY IN ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION
Initiated and organized around the urban practice of Atelier Architecture Autogeree, co-organized by studioBASAR and A.T.U. Asociația pentru Tranziția Urbană, with the help of Bucharest Order of Architects, in the framework of Bucharest Architecture Annual 2019, the aim of the seminar is to bring together diverse actors that try to respond through concrete, local actions to the ecological urgency.

„Borderless Studio (Chicago, USA) - in collaboration with Herkes İçin Mimarlık (Architecture For All) (Istanbul, Turkey), studioBASAR (Bucharest, Romania), and Zorka Wollny (Berlin, Germany) - will be using the site of the decommissioned Anthony Overton Elementary School in the Bronzeville neighborhood to explore how art, design, and architecture create more inclusive approaches to repurposing civic spaces.”
