The launch of the catalogue A51 - 51 Bureaus of Architecture was an event composed of an photo exhibition by Cosmin Bumbut, an exhibition of furniture design from Class Living, presentations, discussions, bar. The theme of event design had to answer at two questions: How to fill the Sala Dalles hall with a minimum budget for a 3 hours event? and How are the Romanian architects are exhibited?

euro-palletThe pragmatic conditions lead us towards using euro pallets as a basic unit for the whole design: being rented and returned without extra production, quick assembly-disassembly, easy fittings, and easy handling, small budget. We used the image capital of the euro pallets to support the design themes of the event, that was questioning the state of Romanian contemporary architecture and the image of the architects, together with their engage on the public agenda, promoting rather a professional community than a top.

111The Big Wheel - the object was made out of 27 structural T elements that supported 54 portraits containing 108 euro pallets. Created at the intersection between a weather cock, a fortune wheel and traditional Romanina reel, the object is staging a professional community found in a moment of self seeking and introspection.

10113131The Furniture Wall - the object was made out of 137 euro pallets arranged as a brick wall, that constructs a curved wall that climbs the steps, enclose the space and invents shelves for trinkets, chairs, lamps or armchairs.

The Talking Benches, The Long Buffet, The Wardrobe and the Bar - 5 objects that were made of 168 euro pallets, each assembled in a similar way as the pallets are stored in depots, here supporting the storing of people, food, drinks and clothing.
